This artwork was made to be a psychological visualisation of anxiousness and to convey the ideas of visualising anxiety taking a physical form psychologically due to the overwhelming nature of it, it’s the thought of anxiety being a physical form and is out to get you but trying to fight back is deemed as hopeless when it has no effect. The song “Alien Blues” by Vundabar along with its lyrics have been interpreted in many different ways amongst many people. For me it is the self-destruction and blaming of yourself for these thoughts and feelings. Feeling the shame for it and needing someone to blame, to me I interpret this as having no one to blame but myself. The need to blame yourself. The blindfold throughout the implies the idea of the feeling that you don’t actually know what you’re fighting against, the feeling of something being there causing the stress but can’t pinpoint what exactly is causing it.
