This artwork is an exploration of science as a medium through which the world is deciphered. Most notably, the notion that through continued discovery of our surroundings, we are able to better know ourselves and control the direction of our growth. This was inspired by a medical procedure in which severe burns are healed via application fish skin, particularly in conjunction with the exploration of transformative repair aided by technological advancement, as this is driven by an innate desire to discover the laws that govern our reality in order to forge new pathways.
