Students researched the work of Yayoi Kusama and in particular her series titled ‘My Eternal Soul’. They worked collaboratively to create designs inspired by the artist’s motifs, and transferred them to a large MDF board, The designs were painted with neon glow paints and presented as a large floor piece under UV lights at the annual exhibition.
This artwork immediately caught my attention because of its bright colours, playful energy, and vibrant style. The use of bold colours creates a sense of happiness and warmth, while the cheerful design makes it feel fun and uplifting. I love how the artwork has a joyful personality and brings a sense of excitement and positivity. The combination of colour, charm, and creativity makes it a piece that feels welcoming and makes me smile.
