This piece became the projected backdrop for our ELC Concert item. Every student chose their own ‘Milky Way’ character of interest to them, designing and creating it here then making a costume and ‘becoming’ their character on stage. Songs were added along with a rather large rocket created from a fridge box. The students delighted in chasing the ink and glitter around the canvas, working collaboratively and using droppers to relocate the ink as it changed colour and pooled in the middle. Each piece was individually considered, created and proudly added to the canvas.
