I see ‘Silent Light’ as a piece that asks the viewer to reflect. When you’re under water, there is a sense of stillness and calmness and this piece gives me a sense of that. I love the multiple colours used to show the water. The piece also makes me question the woman in the water… Is she a mermaid or a human? And why did the artist choose to leave that open to interpretation by having the body stop at that part?
