  • Drowning in Euphoria is a painting on a skateboard. My artwork explores euphoria. I was interested in euphoria as it is an emotion that has two sides; dark and happy.

  • My artwork on a skateboard seeks to represent bravery overcoming fear. The vivid, colourful monsters are fighting daily fear.

  • What’s Left of the Teacup conveys visual storytelling, a demonstration of the differences between the nature of love versus that of admiration. I have explored the symbolism of flowers and teacups to portray fragility. I have used a delicate colour palette consisting of pinks and oranges and have attempted to convey a gradual fracturing.

  • Peace Under the Moonlight explores peacefulness through a monochromatic colour scheme of blues. I hope it reminds the viewer of the peacefulness we can feel when we look up at the sky at night on a calm evening.

  • The concept of confidence is explored in Rush of Confidence by demonstrating how control and inner peace can give one confidence. Moreover, the background’s vivid yellow colour conveys the joy and serenity of self-assurance, while the dragon’s grayscale representation conveys the strength and intensity of believing that you can succeed.

  • Tree of Peace explores the theme of peacefulness through olive branches. Olive branches signify peacefulness in Greece, and cool tones used in the artwork bring peace to people when they look at the artwork.

  • Roses in the Dark explores the theme of happiness with a hidden meaning. The roses represent happiness when surrounded by darkness I used bright red tones of the roses to suggest that having darkness can be seen as a positive thing as it makes joy more vibrant. If we were never in darkness, the roses would seem insignificant.
