In researching genre photography, I designed and created a series of media works based on the genre of art photography. To create this work, I used the technical codes of body positioning, camera angles and framing, use of lighting and the use of composition. This created my visual style as I manipulated the photograph by converting it to black and white. I was also interested in studio photography and combining the use of still life photography skills to create an overall piece.
