I used various shades of blues and greens, colours that represent home to me. I was inspired by Ginger Riley and gave my own twist to my artwork, incorporating little aspects of my life into the piece, such as a heart as the roof of my house, or highlighting my friend’s house. This piece shows the audience how close I hold my home and neighbourhood to my heart, the blues and greens symbolising the liveliness in my neighbourhood.
