The artwork depicts a girl (myself) sitting, wearing a mask and surrounded by what she loves. The theme is focussed on identity. The mask is a symbol of hiding – even she isn’t sure who she really is. But the various items surrounding the girl give her a sense of peace and ‘identity’ anyway.

In this artwork, I wanted to show proud I am of my Punjabi culture and how Bhangra brings joy and energy into my life through the colours and strong movement, I aimed to express happiness, confidence, and a deep connection to my identity.

This artwork took dedication and multiple tries to make it perfect, using innovative ideas and creativity to express myself in the artwork.

For this artwork, I was a digital artist who created this digital design to explore how software works, and colour theories for viewers, to realise how a tiny tweak can make a huge difference.
