Threshold Exhibition
‘History is the ship carrying living memories to the future.’
– Stephen Spender, Poet Laureate
Retrospective exhibitions are usually held at a significant juncture in time, after a major event or point in an artist’s career.
During the life span of the ISV Student Art Exhibition program, the artworks displayed have been created by students against an everchanging backdrop of challenges, including natural disasters, political upheaval, cultural and economic instability, terrorism, social isolation, the acceleration of the technological age, and most recently, the pandemic.
Whether the artworks mirror the challenges at their time of creation or counterbalance this with more positive messages for the future, each work represents a unique moment in time.
Threshold is an exhibition filled with creative learning projects from students, teachers, ISV staff and Member School principals involved in the Leading Learning That Matters program. You can explore the online exhibition by clicking on the images below.
